| The Art Education department aims
to foster teachers with ample expertise about fine art and art education,
and also integrative ability to teach in a school. The department
has hands-on and lecture courses of painting, sculpture, design, craftwork,
theory of fine art, history of fine art and art education. The students
can study each area of fine art here to develop basic imagination
of figurative art, acquire techniques, train their eyes for beauty
and do theoretical analysis of art works. In their senior year, following
these achievements, the students work on their thesis with each supervisor’s
advice, to study each area more deeply. |
